Our mission
change doesn't happen alone

change doesn't happen alone 〰️
Cultivating a movement is not a one woman task.
Founded in 2023, SOULRecover has partnered with The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) to raise funds for its Eating Disorder Research Fund. What was influenced by personal experience and used as motivation in recovery, evolved into a passion to speak up about a highly stigmatized topic: child and adolescent eating disorders. Fostering a deep interest in the public health sector of treatment inequalities, advocacy and access of care is a primary focus of SOULRecover. To date, SOULRecover has raised $11,000 for pilot research at CHOP, through charity spin events within the Philadelphia area. But the work is not done, in fact, this is just the beginning of creating change in the way we think, talk, and perceive eating disorders.
More about
our impact.
SOULRecover: a fundraiser for eating disorder research is dedicated to building a community that works together to reduce the stigma of eating disorders. This begins with a conversation around mental health and works by creating meaningful experience to spread awareness. Correspondingly, raising money for a vastly underfunded sector of research through community events is of primary aim for SOULRecover.
